Bubka To Duplantis: How The Pole Vault World Record Has Progressed

Since Sergey Bubka became the first man to reach the six-metre mark in pole vault in July 1985 in Paris, the record has been broken 19 times with Armand Duplantis taking it to 6.22m on Saturday.

Bubka went on to improve his record 12 times while Duplantis has bettered it on six occasions.
