This photograph taken on September 27, 2017, shows a car driving along a track through dry bush in Tassinca on the French Mediterranean Island of Corsica. A fierce drought hit the island in the summer, with no rain for four months causing trees and vegetation to dry out on the Corsican maquis. Red trees, impoverished vegetation, dry water reserves: after the summer fires that have devastated thousands of hectares, Corsica dresses its wounds, in an environment still marked by the drought of recent months.
