French school director Delphine Bediou sets up a classroom to mark social distancing measures at an elementary school, a few days before its reopening, in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, on May 7, 2020, on the 52nd day of a strict lockdown in the country aimed at curbing the spread of the COVID-19 (the novel coronavirus). Primary schools and daycare centres are scheduled to reopen gradually from May 11 in France, then junior high schools the following week -- but only in areas not hit hard by the epidemic, as the country prepares to ease a two-month coronavirus lockdown.
